What Our Customers Say
“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Franklin Phillips with Modern HVAC. He has maintained my HVAC system for 15 years and consistently goes above and beyond. Franklin is always punctual, dependable, thorough, and professional. He takes pride in his work, cleans up after every service call, and makes appropriate recommendations without ever trying to sell you something you don't need. His honesty and integrity are truly refreshing.”
“Modern HVAC and its owner, Franklin Phillips, provide the finest HVAC service I have ever experienced. They respond quickly and explain everything they plan to do and why. We have had two HVAC emergencies (once having our home struck by lighting) and Modern HVAC acted expeditiously to get our system up and running in the shortest amount of time. I wouldn't dream of using anyone else!”
“Hands down the best customer service in DFW. Modern HVAC handles all of our new custom builds, and they do it right every time, from routine maintenance and upkeep to new construction and remodels. The owner is one of the most knowledgeable guys in the business, and it shows in every job. If you want an efficient, healthy home, they're definitely worth the call. Highly recommend!”
HVAC Service in Midlothian: What to Know
Midlothian is home base for Modern HVAC, so we know the town well, from older homes near the historic downtown to the newer subdivisions going up along US-287 and US-67. The city has grown fast over the past two decades, and that growth means a wide mix of HVAC needs: brand-new builds that need correctly sized systems, ten- to twenty-year-old homes whose original equipment is reaching the end of its life, and acreage properties with shops, barns and detached garages.
Midlothian sits on the Blackland Prairie in Ellis County, where long, hot summers regularly push past 100°F and spring storms can bring hail and power surges. Clay soils that shrink and swell can also shift outdoor unit pads and stress refrigerant line sets over time. We check for these local wear points on every visit, and for new construction we start with a proper load calculation so the system fits the house instead of a rule of thumb.
Being local means shorter drive times and a contractor who will still be here years after the install.
